At Emmanuel, we believe children are a vital part of the church family.
We aim to come alongside parents to raise the next generation to know, love, and follow Jesus. Through age-appropriate teaching, loving relationships, and a focus on Scripture, our children’s ministry helps kids grow in faith and love for the church.
Childrens' Ministry Classes run from mid-August through Father's Day (Mid-June)
Classes run from mid-August through Father's Day
Our Sunday School classes meet during the Discipleship Hour and provide Bible-based instruction for children of all ages—from preschool through high school. Through engaging lessons, memory verses, and hands-on activities, kids explore God’s Word and learn how to live for Him. Classes are grouped by age to ensure developmentally appropriate teaching, and all of our teachers are trained and background-checked.
Preach the Word | Read the Word | Pray the Word | Sing the Word | See the Word | Do the Word
Children’s Training Time takes place during the sermon portion of our 10:30 a.m. worship service.
We use this as a preparatory time for younger children and families new to Emmanuel.
After worshiping together with their families, elementary-aged children are dismissed to a special time of teaching focused on helping them understand the church’s worship life. Each week, kids learn about a different element of our service—such as prayer, singing, giving, the sermon, or the Lord’s Supper—and how they can participate in worship as they grow.
The goal is to prepare children to participate in the weekly gathering with their families.
"And these words which I command you today shall be upon your heart. You shall teach them thoroughly to your children"
Our mid-week Bible Drill program helps children hide God’s Word in their hearts through Scripture memory, Bible skills, and fun, fast-paced games. Kids learn to navigate their Bibles, memorize key passages, and grow in confidence handling God’s Word.
Bible Drill is a fun and structured environment that helps prepare kids for a lifetime of faithful discipleship and love for Scripture.
